Quick disclaimer - this email’s a few days late...😅
I’ve just wrapped up a week in the jungle in India and am currently writing this from a layover in Vietnam, en route back to Australia.
Vietnamese iced coffee is the 🐐
My brain’s foggy (~3 hours of sleep on an overnight flight from Bangalore) but my heart’s full.
And I have to tell you about this.
I just spent a week in the jungle with a group of strangers…
…and I left with a new family.
Not metaphorically.
Literally.
A good friend of mine, Diveakssh 'Divi The Audio' Schae, had a bold vision.
To turn his family’s ancestral ferro-alloy factory land - once home to up to 3,500 workers - into a peaceful jungle sanctuary for digital nomads, artists, entrepreneurs & nature-lovers.
And he did it.
It’s called Jungli.
It’s in Dandeli, India.
And somehow, it felt more like home than most places I’ve lived.
Here’s what my last week involved:
🧖♂️ Infra-red saunas and chai by the pool
🏓 Afternoon pickleball battles (friendly, but ruthless)
🫱 In-person workshops from fellow creatives
🥘 Soul-warming food shared around one long table
📶 Impressively fast wi-fi...but minimal usage in favour of deep offline convos
Sauna sessions, chai by the pool & pickleball
Honestly, there was so much to see, do and appreciate that I couldn't get to it all in 1 week.
And that's OK...because I know I'll return in the future.
On top of that, all of the volunteers were contributing to the ongoing development of the campus, while a few of the guests shared their talents and gifts in various ways such as:
Kuhu shared her Theory of Coexistence -a framework she’s bringing to life on her family’s farm.
Amaan delivered a 90-minute live handpan meditation in a candlelit hall called Soch.
And I ran a live session on building a personal brand that feels like home
It wasn’t a retreat.
It wasn’t a resort.
It was a rhythm.
The kind that slows you down just enough to feel again.
So if you’re craving creative and conscious conversations, deep rest, and the kind of community that makes you forget about time:
