I recorded a raw, unscripted video while driving to my dad’s tombstone.
No script.
No sell.
Just something from the soul.
You might know me for content, coaching, or for operations...
But the truth is, everything I’ve built in the past ~6 years, was catalysed by one single moment I never saw coming.
Back in June 2019, I left my position at Uber to pursue a content trip across Europe.
Just four weeks into the 11-week collaboration, while standing at a petrol station in Albania, my family called me.
Not the usual happy check-in and chats.
One with tears, confusion and heart-break.
Dad had passed away from a heart attack.
No warning.
No goodbye.
And in that moment, I felt like I was being buried.
As it turned out, I was also being planted.
If it wasn't for that moment plus the months of grieving and deep reflection that followed, I wouldn't have taken the risks I have, created the content I did, coached, consulted or collaborated with hundreds of like-minded legends just like you.
(Because if you're reading this, then chances are that you fall into one of those categories)
Now, coming up to ~6 years of hindsight, I can confidently say:
Some of the worst things that happen to us,
Are often disguised as the best things that happen for us.
